Advanced Embodiment Design in TU Delft

Group Work

Client: SAMXL, Magna International Inc.

02.2020 - 07.2020

This design project was finished by the end of July 2020 in TU Delft, with the support of Magna International & SAM|XL factory. The student research team has 4 people with different backgrounds. In the project, we conducted roles as researchers, technical experts, engineers, designers. Context research and analysis, AR interaction design are the focus points of the whole project. Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, we moved our design to a virtual space, and finally introduced an embodiment solution with VR tests.

As a member of the student group, I did full-time design research and concept development with other group members, and mainly focused on user experience research, AR prototyping and service design. This design is currently implementing by SAM|XL factory in Delft, and continuing with further testing and modification, in order to apply it to Magna International-EU. The complete design results cannot be shared due to NDA, but here you can see all key concepts.
